Summer 2009

Dear Music Prep Friends:

I hope this finds you enjoying a wonderful summer.

The summer months provide us with a chance to “put away” the past academic year and to prepare for the new. Many of our students are engaged in festivals, institutes, camps and any number of wonderful learning and performing activities. Many of you have chosen to continue studies with your teachers, taking advantage of a slightly more relaxed schedule. Families find more time together, take vacations, and enjoy the outdoors while days are long and the weather is warm.

No matter how you spend these next few months, I hope that you find a few moments to reflect back on the past year at Music Prep. We are so proud of the many successful achievements by students and faculty. We’ve watched the birth of new ensembles and the growth of existing ones. Students took first “steps” in music and dance, played first notes, and gained new confidence. Many recitals, class showings, concerts, and competitions demonstrated the commitment to quality learning in the arts.

We are grateful to share your musical journey with us, and look forward to your return to our Music Prep community of learners and performers.

Enjoy the summer !

Best Wishes,
