THEORY TESTING

On the day of the audition, all students will be tested on fundamentals (scales, key signatures, intervals, triads, etc.) and ability to read and notate music.  Examination results, although primarily for placement, may be considered in the admission process.

APPLICATION

One week prior to a scheduled audition, prospective students will receive a confirmation letter and an application addendum.  This provides applicants the opportunity to inform the Boyer College of their musical background.

Within three weeks of an audition, students receive unofficial notification of their MUSIC admission status.  The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will send official admission notification approximately two weeks later.  All Boyer students MUST be admitted by Temple University.
