Temple University's percussion program provides the student with a wide range of musical experiences.  We perform, in depth and artistically, the traditional orchestral literature, as well as an extensive amount ot the contemporary percussion repertoire.  Students experience performing in Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Contemporary Ensemble, Percussion Ensembles, Marching Band, and Jazz Ensemble. 

The Percussion Ensemble won the Pennsylvania Percussion Ensemble Competition in 1986.  Students are exposed to the most recent de­velopments in the percussion field as well as the outstanding performers through our Master Class series.
