The percussion Faculty consists of outstanding artist percussionists:  Coordinating the percussion program is Professor Glenn Steele, recording artist of contemporary music for Columbia, C.R.I., and  Vox labels, member of the 2001 Orchestra, and the "Philly Pops" Orchestra;  Alan Abel, renowned percussionist with the Philadelphia Orchestra, and author of 20th Century Orchestra Studies for Percussion and Timpani, and Angela Zator-Nelson, percussionist with the Philadelphia Orchestra. 

Affiliate faculty in classical and jazz-commercial studies also provide instruction according to the needs of the various departments and programs.
