There is no difference between the Applied and the Education major in terms of musicianship.  The Applied major is expected to develop a more advanced technical proficiency and have a more in-depth knowledge of and more experience with the solo and ensemble literture.

The Curriculum, as shown, serves merely as a guideline.  In order to develop the potentials and individual desires of the students as they interact with the diversity and complexities of percussion and music, the particular aspects of the curriculum remain interchangeable and highly flexible.
