DEPARTMENT OF CHORAL ACTIVITIES

In art, and in the higher ranges of science, there is a feeling of harmony

which underlies all endeavor.  There is no true greatness

in art or science without that sense of harmony.

DEPARTMENT PROFILE

The Department of Choral Activities offers a program of study leading to the Master of Music in Choral Conducting. It also serves a vital role in the undergraduate life of the Boyer College of Music and Dance through its several choirs and introductory courses in conducting. The Temple University Concert Choir, Singers, Chorale, and Women's Chorus perform a broad spectrum of repertoire from chamber vocal music to large masterworks for chorus and orchestra.
