The Temple University choirs welcome ALL Temple students to audition for one of our six wonderful ensembles. Whether you’re a seasoned chorister or a novice, we have a space for you!

CONCERT CHOIR GRADUATE CONDUCTORS CHORUS
AUDITIONS Monday December 5 1:00-1:45PM and 2:15-3:00PM Wednesday December 7 1:00-3:00PM Presser 203 (Prof. Rardin’s office)
Please sign up for a time in Choral Activities Office (Presser 201) or email Leslie Cochran cochranl@temple.edu. Prepare aria or song of your choice; an accompanist will be provided. UNIVERSITY SINGERS UNIVERSITY CHORALE WOMEN’S CHORUS
AUDITIONS Wednesday January 18 1:00-3:00pm Presser 204 (Klein Recital Hall)
No audition piece is required, and no appointment is necessary. The audition will consist of vocal exercises, tonal memory exercises, and sight-singing. Descriptions of these choirs appear below.
RECITAL CHORUS
FIRST REHEARSAL Thursday, January 19 3:00-5:00pm Presser 204 (Klein Recital Hall)
No audition is required! This volunteer ensemble sings music of many styles and time periods, and is conducted by graduate student conductors. Join us!
ENSEMBLE DESCRIPTIONS Concert Choir (MUS 4300, 0-1 credits) is a highly select auditioned choir which meets on Tuesday and Thursday's from 1:00-2:50 during fall and spring semesters. The Concert Choir is a touring choir and often represents the college of music in national venues. University Singers, University Chorale, and Women's Chorus (MUS 3300, 0-1 credits) meet Monday and Wednesday's from 1:00-2:50 during fall and spring semesters. These three choruses are open to all University students and perform a variety of choral repertoire from a broad range of historical styles. Recital Chorus is a voluntary chorus recruited by MM in Choral Conducting graduate students and meets on Thursday's from 3:00-4:50 during fall and spring semesters. Graduate Conductors Chorus (MUS 4310, 0-1 credits) is a chamber ensemble that consists of singers auditioned from Concert Choir. Each singer is awarded a grant for weekly rehearsals with MM in Choral Conducting students and meets on Monday's from 3:00-4:50 during fall and spring semesters.
