For Alumni, Friends & the Community
September 2009

Dear Friends:

Welcome to Boyer's new quarterly newsletter for alumni, friends and the community. For those of you not yet on Boyer's email list, I encourage you to sign up online which will assist in our efforts to effectively save resources and reduce printed materials. It only takes a moment and you'll then be up-to-date with events, performances and alumni highlights. Just visit our homepage and click on "join our email list."

I also encourage Boyer alumni to visit MyOwlSpace to stay in touch with fellow alums, make a donation or find out about the many events taking place at Temple.

We recently opened a new annex adjacent to Presser Hall, including state-of-the art classrooms, teaching studios and practice rooms. I hope you get a chance to visit campus and see the new facility, as well as the beautiful atrium entrance shared by Boyer and the Tyler School of Art. Thanks to the Theodore Presser Foundation, Immordino family and other donors for their support of this project that will benefit our students.

We continue to seek funding to complete improvements, which will add additional practice rooms and a recording studio. If you are interested in supporting this important endeavor, please contact the Boyer Development office at 215-204-5689.

As always, thank you for your support of our students and your alma mater.

With warm regards,

Robert T. Stroker

Dean
