Nicholas Bodnar (cello), 16, picked up his brother's violin at age four, said he wanted to play it and then held it like a cello.  Other than the cello, Nicholas also plays violin, French horn, double bass, and is a very fine Texas Hold 'Em player.  He is currently a sophomore at Lawrenceville School, and resides in Princeton, New Jersey.

Robyn Bollinger (violin), 13, comes from a family of musicians in Haddonfield, New Jersey. She has soloed with the Philadelphia Orchestra, and currently performs in the Youth Chamber Orchestra at Temple Music Prep.  Robyn enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her two cats, one collie and younger brother.  She is home schooled and studies music at Temple Music Prep.

Temple Music Preparatory Violin Nonet, coached by Charles Parker, are all recipients of the Starling Scholarships at Temple Music Prep.  Arcady Dubensky composed the Fugue as a gift to his colleagues of the first violin section of the New York Philharmonic.  Music Prep has made performances of the piece something of a tradition.  These nine performers were invited to perform it as the finale for the International Council of Fine Arts Deans conference this past October.  Through the Dubensky's Music Prep history, the players have been referred to as "Charley's Angels" (all females performing, as led by Mr. Parker, at the time) and recently, the "Starling Darlings" (as all carry the Starling Scholarship.
