The conference is located on the 2nd floor of the south side of the Howard Gittis Student Center, on 13th St. between Cecil B. Moore and Montgomery Ave. The easiest way to find the conference is to enter the building via the south side entrance, which is midway up the block on 13th Street. Take the elevators to the 2nd floor; the conference registration is opposite the elevators.
Cash parking available at lots indicated on the campus map. Lots fill up on a first-come, first-served basis, and all contain handicapped-accessible spaces. The lots nearest to the Student Center are:
behind the Student Center with access via Cecil B. Moore Ave. (small lot, may fill up) ($14/day)
- #2 on the
corner of Montgomery Ave. and 12th St. with access via Montgomery
Ave. (small lot, may fill up) ($14/day)
- The Liacouras Garage, behind the Liacouras Center and accessible via 15th St., is large and covered, and only a few blocks from the student center. ($14/day)
- #8 (discount lot) on Cecil B.
Moore between 11th and 12th streets (not far from the
Student Center) ($8/day)
You will be on your own for lunch. Please enjoy the many food trucks on campus (ask a Temple student for recommendations, everyone has a favorite!), or check out nearby restaurants; information will be provided at the registration table, and you can also check out this map.
CMTEs/Continuing Ed Credits
We are not pre-approved with the Certification Board for Music Therapists or any other organization to provide continuing education credits, however
MT-BCs may calculate the contact hours based upon the sessions you
attend at the conference and submit them for credit using the criteria
and instructions given in the CBMT manual.
We will have attendance certificates available for all attendees at the registration table; stop by to pick one up as you leave.
