Annual Boyer College Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts Concert
Held at the prestigious Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, this annual concert offers current Boyer College music students the opportunity to showcase their talents in a world-class concert hall. Each year the College also presents the Boyer College of Music and Dance Tribute Award to an individual or organization in recognition of contributions to cultural advocacy and education, innovative arts enterprises and the mentoring of artists in need. The 2012 recipient was Michael Greene, who was the first President/CEO of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS), better known to the public as the organization behind the Grammy Awards. Today, Greene serves as founding president of Artist Tribe, LLC which is an innovation enterprise bringing together artists, consumers and the cultural global community.
