In certain cases where distance prevents a personal audition, a recorded audition may be considered.  A recording audition (DVD or video preferred) may be sent to the address shown below.  The guidelines are simple:

  1. Present a good, clear recording of your best playing.

  2. Indicate on the recording container the instrument or voice as well as your name and address.

Certain programs have additional requirements.  Please refer to your prospective degree program.

DOCTORAL APPLICANTS

Doctoral performance applicants must submit a recorded audition for preliminary consideration (DVD or video preferred) along with all graduate application materials to the address below; notification regarding a personal audition will follow the evaluation of the taped audition.
