Temple University Choirs
Thousands of Temple University choral alumni can be found all over the world and in every possible profession. Many are still involved in music, with several enjoying prominent positions as conductors of respected K-12, college, community, and professional ensembles.
Temple University choral alumni were the driving force behind the Elaine Brown Chair in Choral Music, the first endowed chair at the Boyer College of Music and Dance. Boyer Professor Emerita Janet Yamron and alumna Sonya Garfinkle, both passionate admirers of the legendary Elaine Brown, initiated the fund, which reached fruition in 2014. Paul Rardin was announced as the first Elaine Brown Chair in Choral Music in 2015.
