      William Kerrigan's principal teachers included Alan Abel, Jack Moore, and Charles Owen. Presently, Principal Percussion/ Assistant Timpani of the Delaware Symphony Orchestra. Principal Percussion with Peter Nero and the Philly Pops, Principal Percussion of Orchestra 2001, Principal Percussion for Opera Delaware, Principal Percussion of the Kennett Symphony, Timpanist at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia, Leader of the Phil-A-Rhythm Percussion Quartet.

      Kerrigan has performed at the Aspen Music Festival, with Shirley Bassey, Art Garfunkel, Al Green, Michael Feinstein, The Moody Blues, Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys, The Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra, The Opera Company of Philadelphia, the Pittsburgh Symphony, the Naples Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, with Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme, with the Harry Partch Ensemble, with Bernadette Peters, with Ben Vereen, with Roger Williams, with Yes, and many others. Have many recording credits. In addition to teaching at Temple University, has taught or continues to teach at the Community College of Philadelphia, Eastern University, Settlement Music School of Philadelphia (Distinguished Faculty Chair), Swarthmore College, and the Wilmington Music School.
