      Brad Gemeinhardt has been a member of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra since 2007, having served as Assistant/Utility horn for two seasons before being appointed Third horn in 2009. In addition to performing at the Met, Brad has performed in a wide variety of classical and commercial settings, including as Guest Principal horn with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic. He has also performed with the San Francisco Symphony, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, American Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, many Broadway shows, television and radio jingles, and commercial recordings. He has also performed as Principal horn on many feature films, including Noah, Tower Heist, Collateral Beauty, True Grit, The Bounty Hunter, and The Producers. Brad received a Bachelor of Music degree from the Juilliard School where his principal teacher was Jerome Ashby. He is also a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy where he studied with Bruce Henniss and Julie Schleif.
