Boyer Faculty Receive Distinguished Temple Teaching Awards

Two Boyer faculty members were honored at a university luncheon today recognizing excellence in teaching.

Dr. Alison Reynolds (Music Education) received theLindback Award for Distinguished Teaching. Dr. Reynolds has taught at all levels at Boyer with a collaborative and inclusive approach. Students have called Dr. Reynolds "passionate and hard working" and have recognized her "helpfuless and willingness." Her research on early childhood music development has reached global audiences in Brazil, Korea, Lithuania, China, Europe and at conferences and classrooms around the United States. Dr. Rollo Dilworth (Choral Music Education/Chair, Music Education & Music Therapy) received the Temple University Faculty Award for Research and Creative Achievement. Dr. Dilworth is a prolilfic composer/arranger and conductor, having published close to 300 works -- many with the prestigious Hal Leonard Publishing Company. He is in high demand as a guest conductor and has worked with choirs of all levels in Australia, Canada, Taiwan, Ireland, China and around the United States. Read more about Dr. Dilworth.
