Dr. Andi Hunt received her Bachelor’s in music therapy at Michigan State University and her Master’s and PhD in music therapy from Temple University, where she is currently the Assistant Director for the Arts and Quality of Life Research Center. Andi has been a member of the American Music Therapy Association Mid-Atlantic Region's Research Committee since 2009, and has 14 years of clinical experience in medical and mental health settings.  Much of her clinical work included collaboration with art, dance/movement, drama, and recreation therapists to promote recovery for persons with mental illness and chemical addictions. Andi’s professional interests include expanding both the qualitative and quantitative evidence base for music therapy practice, and promoting the field through high-quality, clinically relevant research.
