(Clarinet Performance), Temple University; clarinet studies with Joseph Gigliotti, Donald Montanaro, and William Stubbins; conducting studies with Elizabeth A. H. Green; recordings for Toshiba-EMI and Albany Records; active as guest conductor, clinician and adjudicator; past-President of the Eastern Division of the College Band Directors National Association; awarded the Citation of Excellence in higher education teaching by District 12 of the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association; selected as one of the outstanding music educators in the nation by the School Musician Director/Teacher magazine.
