M.M. and Post Graduate diploma in opera, Juilliard School of Music; B.M., M.M., Seoul University; honorary Doctor of Music, Duquesne University; studied with Jan Peerce and Jennie Tourel; under management of Sol Hurok, performed more than 240 recitals including an American debut at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center; tenor in 52 major opera roles with the Pittsburgh, Los Angeles and Metropolitan Opera; performed with New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony, and The Philadelphia Orchestra; First Prize winner, Koussevitsky Artist Award, Metropolitan Opera National Council Audition, and Korean National Musical Competition.
