I was
born in
Yazd , one of
the most ancient and historical places of Iran. Yazd is located about
400 miles south of Tehran.
After high school, I left my family and hometown to go to the city of
Hamadan
where I received my bachelor's degree in chemistry from
University of Bu-Ali Sina.
My undergraduate research
experience in the field of surface chemistry and heterogeneous catalysis
encouraged me to
continue my studies. In September 2004, I graduated from
Sharif University of Technology with
a M.Sc degree in physical chemistry.
I joined the Borguet
group in January 2005 as a research assistant working toward a Ph.D.
My current research focuses on vibrational dynamics at interfaces using highly surface specific nonlinear optical techniques, namely Second-Harmonic
Generation (SHG) and Sum-Frequency Generation (SFG).
