I grew up in King of Prussia and
attended classes within the Upper Merion Area School District. Prior to my
collegiate years, I enjoyed participating in the orchestra (thanks to my
parents’ tolerance for the sometimes-unpleasant noises that this produced),
choir, cross-country, and track and field.
I recently graduated from Temple
University as an undergraduate B.S. candidate in Chemistry in May 2008. My research focuses on the surface
properties of various environmentally important materials and the mechanisms
that allow for the remediation of contaminants. Results of this study will
assist in our understanding of molecular-level processes such as reaction
dynamics at material interfaces.
