My name is Jianguo Wang and I came to the United States from China. I earned my Ph.D. in Electroanalytical chemistry at the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001. I have been serving as a professor within the College of Chemistry of Liaoning University in northeast China since 2003. My previous research experiences include work with electrochemistry of artificial biomembranes, electrochemical behavior and the development of new electrochemical methods. I joined the Borguet Group as a visiting scholar at the end of May 2009. My research interest involved developing an approach to using carbon nanpipettes (CNP's) to determine the buffer capacity of single cells.
