I am a senior biochemistry student at Temple University. I joined the Borguet group in the summer of 2011 to gain a broader perspective on current research in chemistry. Prior to that, I have had over two years of experience working in a biochemistry lab. Although much of my academic interest is in biological chemistry and biophysics, I decided to join the Borguet group because the research piqued my interest; I knew it would provide a unique and challenging experience and extend the boundaries of my scientific understanding. When I'm not in class, in the lab or working, I enjoy cooking, hiking, dancing, reading and spending time with friends.
