AIAS

The Temple University Architecture Students Association is a chapter of the National AIAS. Temple AIAS has been instrumental in the organization of student activities within the department. Meeting once a week and organizing various trips and seminars, the chapter has created several new traditions that enhance the architecture students’ lives at Temple. The Christmas party and Spring Luau are both opportunities for students to socialize and unwind, as well as discuss how their design work is challenging them. In addition, the students are active on the national scene and have attended the Northeast Conference and Forum this year. Events that will be offered in the spring include a trip to the DIA Beacon center in Beacon New York, and a series of brown bag lunches with local professionals.
