Ellen has comprehensive experience programming, schematic design, code and zoning review and approval, design development, construction documents and construction administration through final completion.
Ellen has experience in diverse projects including new construction and renovation. She has worked on laboratories and animal facilities for Research and Development, Hospital facilities, outpatient facilities, long-term Elderly care and interior design.
Ellen has been involved in the following major projects. Sterling Drugs, Collegeville Pa., Wyeth Ayerst Drug Safety facility, Chazy, N.Y. and Fox Chase Cancer Center, Cancer Prevention Pavilion, Philadelphia, Pa. Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, Pa. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa.
Ellen was on the board of directors for the AIA Philadelphia, Chapter. From 1999 to 2001, she was also co-chair for the tour Committee for the AIA convention held in Philadelphia May 2000
Ellen has taught at the Spring Garden College, the Art Institute of Philadelphia and the at Temple University Landscape Architecture program before joining the faculty at Temple University Architecture program. She is also an advisor for the curriculum for the Architecture and construction program at Philadelphia Community College.
Ellen has been involved with CADD since 1982, where she helped set standards and develop the implementation of the use of CADD within the Architecture profession. |
