The Architecture Department is proud to announce that following awards have been won by current and former students in seveveral recent regional competitions, including: |

| The2007 Vitetta Award |
| + 3rd place: Adam Mercier (5 th yr BArch) |
The Vitetta Award is an annual competition between three students from each of the 4 accredited
architecture programs in Philadelphia sponsored by the Vitetta Group of Companies. This year Adam Mercier was placed second for his project ‘TRaCES'.

The John Stewardson Memorial Competition is an annual design competition between 15% of the fjnal
year students from the 6 accredited programs of architecture in Pennsylvania . This year, for the
first time in its 100 yr history, all the top awards except one went to one program, Temple . This
was also the first time that the competition has been opened to alumni, up to two years out of
school. Joshua Kaltreider was placed first, and Dustin Tobias and Andrew Hart received honorable mention. Michael Blumenthal was placed in the top five. |

| +2nd place: Emmanuel Gee (5 th yr BArch) |
The AIA West Jersey Awards is an annual competition between two students from each of the 4
accredited architecture programs in Philadelphia . This year Emmanuel Gee was placed second for
his project for an industrial design and fabrication laboratory in Manyunk.
