About the Symposium
During the AMP Research Symposium and Mentoring Conference, undergraduate students from Philadelphia AMP and other LSAMP Alliances will showcase their research in poster competition sessions, and compete for cash prizes (from $150 - $500), awards and giveaways (including a laptop computer, flash drives, and graphing calculators). In addition, representatives will also be available to provide mentoring and professional/career development for undergraduate students to transition successfully to graduate study, industry and academe. Special professional development activities and an oral research competition will also be available for the LSAMP BTD participants.
The 11th Annual Philadelphia AMP Symposium and Mentoring Conference was held Saturday, April 5, 2008.
