Temple University Ambler offers youths, between the ages of
8 and 17, the opportunity to explore a variety of fun and educational camps throughout the summer. Learn about the camps from the people who know them best…the kids!

Summer Education Camps

Welcome to Temple University's Summer Education Camp programs. Temple University Ambler has been offering summer education camps for 24 years. Camps are available for kids, tweens, and teens between the ages of 8 and 17, during the months of June, July and August. They provide a wonderful opportunity for youths to learn about a specific area of interest, experience a college campus and have lots of fun at the same time.

For Summer 2013, we are pleased to offer a variety of new and returning favorite camps. Below is a sample of just some of the camps that will be offered this summer:

Gamemaker - ages 12 to 16

3D Sculpture and Jewelry - ages 8 to 12

Multimedia Camp - ages 13 to 17

Babysitting Training Camp - ages 11 to 15

Goosebumps Mystery Writing Club - ages 8 to 12

Create Your Own Cartoon - ages 8 to 12

CSI: Critter Scene Investigator - ages 8 to 12

EcoArtist Camp - ages 8 to 12

Creative Writing - ages 13 to 17

Webmasters: HTML- ages 10 to 12

Science Explorers - ages 8 to 12

Explore Engineering - ages 10 to 14

Geocaching Adventure Camp - ages 13 to 17

The Wilderness Games - ages 12 to 17

Film and TV - ages 8 to 15

Jumpstart! Reading Games and Math Games - ages 8 to 12

Skill Builders: World History Explorers - ages 8 to 12

Gamemaker - ages 10 to 12

Lego Mindstorms NXT Robotics Beginners - ages 10 to 14

Skill Builders: Middle Ages Explorers - ages 8 to 12

Music and Voice Production Camp - ages 13 to 17

TUA Summer Camp Registration, Refund and Withdrawal Policies (2013):

Payment: Full payment is due upon registration.

Fees: All camp fees include materials and/or computer lab fees, unless otherwise noted.

Refunds/Withdrawals: Withdrawals must be received in writing and can be sent to course.withdrawals@temple.edu or by fax at 267-468-8506. A $50 withdrawal fee will be charged for each camp withdrawal. No refunds will be issued after May 31, 2013.

Early Bird Discount: Register and pay by April 30, 2013 and receive a 10% discount off the camp fee, unless otherwise noted. Discount is not taken off the materials or computer lab fees. No other discounts apply to summer camps.
