Technology Support

Classroom Technology
All classrooms are equipped with pull-down screens, whiteboards and tabletop lecterns. Some classrooms are equipped with ceiling mounted projection units that are available at a reasonable fee upon request.  Portable projection units and other audio-visual equipment are available by request as well.  For a complete list of equipment, click here. Technical support is available on-site to answer your questions, assist with set-up and operation of equipment, and trouble shoot if any technical problems arise.

Computer Classroom Technology
Temple University Fort Washington has four computer classrooms with seating for 16 to 32 people. There are 101 computers in total in the four computer classrooms, all with flat panel monitors. One of the computer rooms has new Pentium D 3.40 GHz computers, while the other computer classrooms are equipped with 2.8 GHz computers. 

Video-conference Room Technology
There are six video-conference rooms with seating for 18 to 32 people.  Video-conference classrooms are capable of connecting to other locations allowing interactive participation in programs, seminars or workshops. A media manager is on-site to set up the connection to other video-conferencing locations. Labs and equipment can be reserved by companies and organizations during daytime hours.
