Cherry and White Day 2008
Saturday, April 19, begins at 10:30 a.m., Commuter Parking Lot Field, Temple University Ambler

Cherry and White Day, an opportunity for alumni, current students, and the general public to celebrate Temple Athletics, will include alumni versus alumni competition and student versus alumni events in a wide variety of sports; a 4-on-4 volleyball tournament; team, band, and cheerleader reunion tailgating; a special “Kids Zone,” music, food, entertainment, and much more! EarthFest 2008

Friday, April 25, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Commuter Parking Lot Field, Bright Hall Commons, Learning Center Commons, Temple University Ambler

More than 9,000 visitors will mark Earth Day at Temple University Ambler celebrating the importance of protecting the environment and preserving their future. There will be more than 85 exhibitors, including the Philadelphia Zoo, The Franklin Institute and the Academy of Natural Sciences. Food and entertainment are also part of the festivities. EarthFest partner the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society also offers their Kids Grow Expo, featuring the Junior Flower Show, as part of the event. Non-Credit Spotlight

CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS

Temple University offers a variety of certificate programs in the Business Agenda and Personal Enrichment categories. Certificate programs include Leadership and Management, Web Site Design, Wedding Planning and Consulting, Meeting Planning, Interior Design, Master Home Gardener, and many others. Participants must complete the required courses within a 2-year period from the date of the first course.
