Pi Alpha Xi Plant Sale

Spring has sprung! It’s time to get back
out into the garden! Pi Alpha Xi, the
national honor society for horticulture students, and the Ambler Arboretum of Temple University will hold a special Plant Sale at the Ambler Campus Greenhouse.
The plant sale is an Ambler Campus tradition dating back to the early 1900s.

A new book, A Century of Cultivation 1911
to 2011 — 100 Years from the Pennsylvania School of Horticulture for Women to Temple University Ambler
, written by Jenny Rose Carey, Director of the Ambler Arboretum
of Temple University, and Mary Anne Blair Fry, a graduate of the Class of 1958
explores the rich history of the Ambler Campus.
