On April 16, 2007 T-VSSI researchers, Lynn Mandarano and Richard Nalbandian, led a mobile workshop tour, “Best Stormwater Management Practices at the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust,” for the American Planning Association’s 99th National Conference in Philadelphia. Twenty-nine professional planners from across the United States braved the stormy weather to visit five BMPs that the T-VSSI constructed at the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust. Unfortunately, the group only had an opportunity to visit the constructed wetland, riparian buffer and upland wet ponds because the tour bus got stuck in a drainage culvert when attempting to maneuver a u-turn.
