 Description

KlingStubbins designed a seepage pit to be installed in a narrow strip located between two halves of a parking garage at Centocor’s headquarters in Horsham, PA. Collected runoff is directed into the seepage bed, where it will percolate through a sand/soil mix for filtering and pollutant removal prior to infiltrating the groundwater supply. The seepage area also slows the speed of runoff so that it does not erode channels into the riparian buffer near the site, as this would reduce the buffer’s effectiveness.
