Recipients of the scholarship will be selected by the chair of the Department of Community and Regional Planning on the basis of academic performance, extra-curricular activities, and interest in the field of planning.
The scholarship provides support for a junior or senior majoring in Community Development. Interested applicants must submit a one-page essay describing the contributions they want to make as a professional planner. Recipients must have a minimum grade point average of 3 .0 or higher.
This scholarship provides support for a sophomore or junior majoring in Community Development who has demonstrated a commitment to community service. Recipients must have a minimum grade point average of 2.75 or higher.
