COMMUNITY AND REGIONAL PLANNING

ARTHUR F. LOEBEN SCHOLARSHIP

  • Recipients of the scholarship will be selected by the chair of the Department of Community and Regional Planning on the basis of academic performance, extra-curricular activities, and interest in the field of planning.

  • The scholarship is awarded each year to a new freshman or transfer student majoring in Community and Regional Planning. Interested applicants must submit a one-page essay describing the importance of planning in their community.

  • Amount: Renewable $1,000 scholarship. Students may receive the scholarship for up to four years provided they maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and remain enrolled in the Community and Regional Planning bachelor's degree program.

toward sustainability scholarship

  • This scholarship provides support for a sophomore or junior majoring in Community and Regional Planning who has demonstrated a commitment to community service. Recipient must have a minimum grade point average of 2.75 or higher.

  • Questions regarding this scholarship should be directed to Debra Beck at 267-468-8300.

  • Amount: An annual scholarship of $1,000; not renewable.

  • Eligibility: The student must be an Ambler campus sophomore or junior majoring in Community and Regional Planning.

  • Deadline for application: March 1, 2009.

Temple University Ambler has streamlined the process for applying for all Ambler campus and Ambler College scholarships. Students may apply anytime from January 1, 2008 until the deadline of March 1, 2008. Links are provided to view specific instructions and application forms for each scholarship/award.
