Thousands of visitors will mark Earth Day at Temple University Ambler celebrating the importance of protecting the environment and preserving their future. More than 75 exhibitors, including the Philadelphia Zoo, U.S. EPA, Franklin Institute, FEMA, Academy of Natural Sciences, Dow, Elmwood Park Zoo, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Insectarium will take part in EarthFest 2015. Temple Ambler Spring Plant Sale
Saturday, April 25, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Ambler Campus Greenhouse Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first graduation ceremony held at Ambler! Hosted by Pi Alpha Xi and the Ambler Arboretum of Temple University, the Spring Plant Sale — an Ambler Campus tradition dating back to the early 1900s — will feature woody plants and perennials, annuals, veggies, hanging baskets and more. Cash, checks or credit cards accepted. Proceeds from the Spring Plant Sale will support the Ambler Arboretum, the Pi Alpha Xi National Honor Society and student internships. The Department of Community and Regional Planning provides students with a broad-based understanding and awareness of multi-dimensional land-use and planning issues.
