Linda Linda brings more than 20 years of professional experience to Temple and Ambler's Development Team.
For the last 6 years, Linda worked as the Director of Annual Giving and Special Funds at Fox Chase Cancer Center. As Director of Annual Giving, she was responsible for recruiting, cultivating, and soliciting an annual donor base of more than 1,200. Prior to her position at Fox Chase, she directed special events at the Morris Arboretum.
Linda is also involved in numerous civic and volunteer organizations, including the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the Woodland Garden Club and the Cheltenham Board of Historical Architectural Review — clearly a perfect fit for the School of Environmental Design (SED), Community and Regional Planning, Horticulture, and Landscape Architecture programs and the campus Arboretum.
Linda brings just the right combination of prior professional experiences and accomplishments, which we believe are admirably suited for continuing the development of Temple University Ambler, the School of Environmental Design, and the Arboretum and for coordinating alumni affairs and administering the Ambler Board of Visitors.
In her new role, Linda will coordinate and implement fundraising strategies for Temple University Ambler, and specifically SED, by working closely with faculty and University administrators and staff. She will also plan and staff alumni events, major donor recognition events, and other special events to promote SED and the campus.
With the opening of the Learning Center and several new garden additions to the Ambler Arboretum, Linda joins the campus at an important and exciting time for both alumni and current students as the University works diligently to determine the key role of — and goals for — the Ambler campus moving toward the future.
