Temple University welcomes transfer applicants from both two-year and four-year colleges and universities around the country and around the world!
Transfer students comprise more than half of each entering class and are a vital part of our campus community. You are considered a transfer student if you will have attempted 15 or more college-level credits by the time you apply. If this is not the case, you should apply as a freshman student.
Visit Temple University Ambler and sit down one-on-one with an Admissions Counselor to discuss the application process, your previous credits and how they will transfer, and your readiness to begin classes at Temple. If you are applying for Fall 2013 semester, you can receive an admissions decision on the spot!*
Call today for a 15-minute appointment!
Tours available at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
*For an on-the-spot admissions decision, you must bring a completed printed application and all official college transcripts in their sealed envelopes to your appointment. You can download an application to print here.

When making admissions decisions, we give careful consideration to the quality of your program, the number of credits you have earned and the grade point average you have achieved. A 2.5 cumulative GPA is preferred for most programs of study, but not a guarantee of admission."
For most programs, transfer students must complete the application process by June 1 for the Fall semester or by November 1 for the Spring semester.
You must request that all high schools and colleges which you previously attended send official transcripts to the Undergraduate Admissions Office at Temple University by these deadlines. SAT or ACT scores are not required if you have earned at least 15 college-level credits.
