AMBLER CAMPUS ADULT STUDENT AWARD

• A cash prize established by campus administration awarded to a matriculated graduate or undergraduate student over 25 years old.

• Amount: Typical award of $500.

• Eligibility: Candidates must be current matriculated students; at least 25 years old, and currently take 51 percent of their classes at Temple University Ambler.

• Applicants are asked to provide a brief (two paragraphs) personal statement demonstrating: financial need; personal background; education path (as far back as high school); including graduate years and college experience thus far; and educational goals.

• Deadline for application: Wednesday, March 17, 2010.

AMBLER COLLEGIAL ASSEMBLY AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

• A cash prize awarded to a graduating senior to recognize and promote the pursuit of academic excellence among students of the Ambler campus.

• Amount: Typical annual award of $125.

• Eligibility: Graduating seniors with Ambler as the campus of record.

ELIZABETH CLARKE AWARD FOR CONSERVATION EDUCATION

• A cash prize awarded to a graduating senior interested in studying to teach or work in the discipline of conservation education. Based on need and positive attitude.

• Amount: Typical annual award of $1,500.

• Eligibility: Graduating seniors with Ambler as the campus of record.

JAMIE DICKSON MEMORIAL ALPHA CHI RHO SCHOLARSHIP

• Tuition assistance provided by the Phi Kappa Chi chapter of Alpha Chi Rho fraternity to an individual with Ambler as the campus of record who embodies Jamie Dickson's compassion and determination both on and off the Ambler campus, with a preference given to students majoring in Education.

• Questions regarding this scholarship should be directed to Dr. Wanda Lewis-Campbell, Assistant Dean of Student Life at 267-468-8425.

• Amount: Typical annual award of $600.

• Eligibility: A sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, who has demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities at Ambler, focusing on campus and community service.

ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA SORORITY, PHI BETA OMEGA CHAPTER BOOK AWARD

• Book award for a deserving African American student who contributes to campus life.
