Unrestricted Support Unrestricted gifts are apportioned to different areas of need every semester at Temple -- wherever they can do the greatest good. Unrestricted gifts are not designated to a specific area at Temple; they are utilized where they are most immediately needed or where opportunities are greatest. Common uses of unrestricted funds include student aid, faculty support, emergency renovations, new academic initiatives, research assistance and the purchase of books, collections, supplies and equipment.
