School
of Podiatric Medicine
Below you will find some examples of how your gift to the School of Podiatric
Medicine Annual Fund will be put to use. Your annual gift, whatever the
size, helps the School meet critical needs and seize exciting opportunities.
Your gifts support:
- To fund the rehabilitation of the current operating room in order
to upgrade it to an out patient surgical suite. Rehabilitation will
include updating all equipment to make it suitable for proper codes.
These changes will make the surgical suite a first rate facility.
- Provide funding for a new Distance Learning Laboratory where students
could participate in lectures and presentations through interactive
methods. In order to create this lab, the School will need individual
computers and sophisticated equipment.
- Supply scholarship aid for outstanding students demonstrating financial
need. Increasing current scholarship funding will attract quality
students in the dwindling national applicant pool for podiatry.
- To continue to aid of student programs. This will create a positive
awareness of the School, both in the academic and medical communities.
