The Centennial Celebration
The School began its Centennial Celebration in 2001, and will stretch into 2004 in order to allow the next four years' classes the opportunity to experience this one-in-a-hundred years opportunity. This 100th Anniversary recognizes our impressive history, highlights our bright future, and increases our visibility nationally. Many Centennial events have occurred and are continuing.

A Centennial Reunion was held in October 2001 and in April 2002 U.S. Senator Arlen Specter visited campus to speak about The Role of Government in Science. A history book on the School's first one hundred years is in production with an expected completion date in Spring/Summer 2002. the School is hosting two Centennial Lecture Series on Drug Discovery and n Hospital Pharmacy (dates and times are listed under "Alumni News"). We inaugurated the Aventis Student Career Laboratory that serves as an outstanding student employment resource and we unveiled a newly renovated lecture hall with Internet Access at each chair. Many, many activities are occurring and we invite all our alums and friends to help us celebrate and to also come visit the School of Pharmacy.
