Below you will find some examples of how your gift to the College of Liberal
Arts Annual Fund will be put to use. Your annual gift, whatever the size,
helps the College meet critical needs and seize exciting opportunities.
Your gifts help:
- Install new technologies, including "smart classrooms," which are revolutionizing
the way students are taught, and update existing technologies, like
the language laboratories in Anderson Hall
- Support new programs like "Inside Out," a program which sends Temple
students and instructors from the Criminal Justice Department to teach
classes to prisoners in Philadelphia jails
- Improve student resources like the University Writing Center and the
Institute for the Study of Literature, Literacy, and Culture
- Supply scholarship aid for outstanding students demonstrating financial
need
- Create new initiatives like the Discovery Series, a course that
gives liberal arts students an in-depth look at careers in various
disciplines
