End of Semester Report

 

The International Programs Committee has spent the major portion of its time working (during the fall) on the following items: creation and implementation of the Global Temple 2 conference that occurred on 13 November 2007, and additionally did work following the new search for the Vice-president of International Programs, on updating the database of faculty with international expertise and connections, and following the progress of the intentions to participate in the 'Working Group on Internationalization' (as previously reported).

During the spring the Committee has been working on planning the Global Temple 3 Conference that will occur on 11 November 2008, meeting with the incoming interim Vice-President for International Affairs, meeting with Computer Services to further refine and improve the database of Faculty International Expertise, and following the progress of the 'Globalizing Temple' group that is working on the new University strategic plan (No official report has yet been released).
